The GED Tests can only be taken at an official testing center—but don't worry, there are more than 3,400 testing centers worldwide. More than 17 million people have earned their GED credential since the program began in 1942.

Tournament Sponsor - $500.00 - Includes recognition on signage, advertising, etc. plus one foursome.

Major Sponsor - $250.00 - Includes recognition on hole signage and one foursome.

Hole Sponsor - $100.00 - Includes recognition on hole signage.

Team Sponsor - $180.00 - Includes one foursome.

Individual Participant - $50.00 - Includes one entry fee.

3rd Annual Race to GED golf tournament is next week!!!

The 3rd Annual Race to GED Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, April 15, 2011, beginning at 1:00PM at Goodyear Golf Club at 645 Jenny Lane in Danville, VA!

All registered players will be able to play a practice round on the course earlier in the week for the nominal fee of $30 (must officially be registered in the tournament to play a practice round).

We are also excited to announce that GR Stanley Chevrolet of Bassett has agreed to sponsor the tournament again this year and that Pittylsvania County Schools Adult Education Program will also serve as tournament sponsor. GR Chevrolet is offering fabulous hole prizes including a 2011 Malibu for a hole in one on a hole to be announced.

First place winning team will receive $400 cash!!! (To be split 4 ways). Second and third place teams will also take home prizes. Other prizes are also available.

Entry fees are $50 per individual or $180 per foursome which includes one round of golf on tournament day, cart, light dinner following tournament, and snacks during play.
